All this time Sekky was told that Japs were all evil, never trust the Japs! and such. But after he got to take a look at Meiying and Kazuo he started to think differently, he started getting his own opinion on things,  maybe all Japs aren't bad.

After the bombardment of Pearl Harbour during World War II, Canada got a little paranoid thinking that all "Japs" were enemies .The Japanese immigrants were rounded up and sent to internment camps were they will never be able to send information to the so called enemy.
